On January 16, 2025, over 100 guests attended the groundbreaking event, including Swarga Suites’ owners, Parna Raya Group BODs and BOCs, government, religious figures, and community leaders. The momentous event started with soft tunes of rindik music combined with graceful Balinese dances created an authentic and warm cultural atmosphere.
Key speakers included the President Director of PT. Alam Bali Sejahtera, government representatives, and the hotel’s owner. They emphasized the importance of this project for Berawa’s development. The event’s highlight was the installation of the first foundation pile, accompanied by sirens and confetti, symbolizing hope for a solid and promising future.
Innovative Expansion Plans
The expansion project will elevate several facilities while enhancing Bali’s cultural charm. With an additional 956.06 square meters, the design ensures harmony with the surrounding natural environment. Swarga Suites will focus on balancing guest comfort with social responsibility to the local community.
“This isn’t just about adding buildings or facilities. It’s a tangible step toward supporting Bali’s tourism, benefiting the local community, and offering memorable guest experiences,” said Angkola Ogessadro Siregar, President Director of Swarga Suites Bali Berawa. The project will add 89 new rooms, increasing the total to 149. It also includes a new swimming pool, lobby lounge, wellness facilities, and all-day dining options. These additions aim to enhance guest experiences and cater to diverse preferences.
Meeting the Rising Demand in Bali Tourism
The expansion aligns with Swarga Suites’ goal to adapt to Berawa’s dynamic tourism growth. By prioritizing innovation and authenticity, they aim to create exclusive experiences that highlight Bali’s cultural charm. The project is expected to be completed by August 1st, 2026, and welcome guests soon after.
Bali’s soaring tourism numbers strongly motivate this expansion. By July 2024, over 625,000 international visitors arrived, with a cumulative 3.5 million tourists from January to July. These figures underline the growing need for high-quality accommodations and services in Bali’s popular destinations.
