Head Bar

Description

Oversees the bar operations and other bartenders’ work to ensure positive and memorable guest experience. Ensures the smooth running of the bar and skilled in serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.

Requirements

• Minimum of Diploma in Hospitality Management or any related study
• 2+ years restaurant and/or bartending experience
• Excellent knowledge of wines, spirits, and mixed drinks
• Customer focus
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Proven positive & good work ethic with a high degree of responsibility
• Ability to work cohesively as part of a team and build relationships

Responsibilities

• To partner with the outlet Manager to execute the smooth and flawless operation of the Bar and Restaurant.
• Adhere to government and corporate liquor regulations pertaining to serving alcoholic beverages to minors and intoxicated guests.
• Complete all bartender duties when necessary.
• Develop a complete working knowledge of the menu items and their ingredients and preparation.
• Ensure the bartenders to perform as per expected standards and that every guest receives the highest quality of service.
• Train bartenders and service team on beverage knowledge and service & quality standard.
• Assist with beverage procurement and beverage costing.
• Complete product requisitions accurately and maintain bar beverage inventory control.
• Monitor bar opening and closing duties and completed daily to standard by bartenders.
